NDX Aligners are made from Zendura® FLX — A medical-grade, polyurethane material with a 3-layer construction, delivering constant and gentle forces on the teeth.

Rigid outer layer: Protects the aligner from wear and tear, surface scratches or damage from tooth-grinding forces from the opposing arch.*

Elastomeric middle layer: This makes the aligner more flexible and elastic.*

Inner Layer: Fits the teeth securely and gives better control over tooth movements.*

NDX Aligners cater to a variety of orthodontic cases. For optimal results and a better patient experience, we recommend NDX Aligners for mild to moderate cases of crowding, crossbite, overbite, open bite, spacing and deep bite.

Each case is uniquely designed by our team of orthodontists and clinicians. Every case request we receive is carefully reviewed and analyzed to create an accurate and effective treatment plan for you and your patient.

NDX Aligners are an expansion of our existing dental services. We understand that every practice has unique needs, so we work closely with you to determine how our services can complement your practice, and we help you identify which cases would be the most beneficial for you and your practice. In addition, we strive to offer you competitive pricing, high-quality treatment plans, superior aligner material and a low refinement rate.

Our default treatment protocols follow a one-week wear cycle, but it’s up to the prescribing doctor to recommend as they see fit. Aligners should be worn for 22 hours a day for optimal results.

It is recommended that patients have healthy gums before starting clear aligner treatment. If a patient has active periodontal disease, they should be treated and stabilized before starting clear aligner treatment.

Existing or future dental work should be considered when creating a treatment plan. NDX Aligners can be used to move teeth with dental work, but this should be done under the supervision of a qualified orthodontist.

Age is not a limitation for orthodontic treatment with NDX Aligners. However, we recommend use in patients with all their permanent teeth erupted.

Yes. NDX Aligners can be a post-orthodontic treatment for adult patients who did not complete previous orthodontic treatment or who want to fix misaligned teeth that moved after treatment.

While NDX Aligners may cause some discomfort, they are less likely to cause TMJ pain.

It is unlikely for NDX Aligners to cause tooth recession when used under the supervision of a qualified dentist.

Attachments are small, tooth-colored bumps that are bonded to the teeth to help guide the movement of the teeth during clear aligner treatment. They help to create specific forces to aid in tooth movement.

Refinements are additional sets of aligner trays provided to patients who have completed their initial treatment course but still have some remaining tooth misalignment or bite issues. These refinements fine-tune the alignment of the teeth and help to ensure optimal results. The duration and number of refinement trays needed vary depending on the individual’s specific situation and treatment goals.

Yes, your patient should start wearing their retainer immediately after finishing the last tray of the treatment plan. You will be able to request retainers in the NDX Aligners doctor portal.

NDX recommends patients follow the instructions provided by Zendura for routine cleaning and disinfection: While ordinary soap (we recommend using a mild, non-abrasive soap) and water can effectively clean and disinfect Zendura appliances, for additional cleanliness and sparkle, Zendura suggests using an alcohol-free, effervescent denture cleaning product (such as DentaSOAK®, Efferdent®, Polident®, Kenite or their generic equivalents).* *Reference: zenduradental.com/pages/zendura-flx-properties
