Course Overview

Shade-selection and matching are often perceived as secondary to the clinical process. This seminar offers improved communication for aesthetic case planning utilizing predictable shade-taking techniques that promote consistency. Additional topics will include: in-office lighting conditions, digital photography, technical aids and material preferences for case planning.

• Evaluate and discuss obstacles for accurate shade taking procedures

Dennis Urban, CDT

Dennis Urban, CDT brings more than 40 years of experience to the dental profession. In addition to being a seasoned dental lab manager, Dennis has been an eminent lecturer worldwide since 1985. His lectures and courses span areas of technology, dentures, lab management, shade communication and implant overdentures. His technical articles have been published across the US, Canada and Europe. Dennis is currently Board President on the National Board Certification and serves on the Advisory Board for IDT magazine.
