Robert Gitman

General Manager

Rob is a graduate of LaSalle University with a degree in Public Administration. Over the years, he has continued to expand his scope of academic knowledge by completing graduate level courses in Total Quality Management from Penn State University, Employee Benefits Accounting from the Internal Revenue Service, Leadership Innovation from Drexel University and Negotiation Practices from Harvard University Law School. Within the dental field, Rob has consulted with dentists, manufacturers, distributors, publications and laboratories throughout North America and in Western Europe. His record of business consultation, marketing, business valuation services, and strategic planning in the dental field has been officially cited by the publishers of "Who's Who" and accredited by the Society of Young American Professionals. Bob has served the industry as Executive Director of the Dental Laboratory Conference, and through such affiliation, Bob held a seat on the American Dental Association's Council on Dental Practice. He has also served as Advisory Committee Member for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped and as an Ex-Officio Trustee Advisor to Oral Health 2000, America’s Fund for Dental Health. He is currently serving as an executive committee member and board member for the National Association of Dental Laboratories. As a published author, Bob has written articles and lectured internationally to groups on dental laboratory licensure, practical marketing, laboratory profitability and strategies for buying and selling laboratories. Over the years, Bob has been involved with U.S. District Courts, where he served as an expert witness and co-authored an Amicus brief delineating industry labor practices. Additionally, he has ghost written motivational speeches as well as manuscripts on the subjects of management, accounting, advertising, marketing, direct sales, fund raising and health care issues.

 

Craig Yoder, CDT, TE

Quality Assurance Manager

Craig is a Certified Dental Technician and PTC Facilitator with nearly 30 years of practical, technical and management experience. Craig is a graduate of J. Sargent Reynolds Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Technology. Over the years, Craig has supplemented his undergraduate pursuits by successfully completing courses in leadership, management, lean manufacturing, and total quality management from such institutions as the Dale Carnegie Institute, the American Management Association and Penn State University. Versed in modern dental materials science and applications, Craig's broad scope of dental technology expertise is a result of his commitment to continuous improvement through the application of leading-edge technologies combined with rigorous training of the laboratory's technical personnel. He has received manufacturers’ certifications in a wide variety of zirconia-based restorations, indirect composites and porcelain systems. He is the first CDT to receive certification in the ClearMatch® shade matching system. Most recently, Craig was recognized as a Certified Dawson Technician by the Dawson Academy. Craig is a member of the Central Pennsylvania Dawson Study Club.

 

Willie L. Johnson, MDT, CDT, TE

Production Manager

Willie began his career in the United States Navy. He served as Senior Technical Director and Laboratory Manager in many dental laboratories throughout the Navy. By the time he retired with 20 years of service, he had completed the following: Dental Assisting School, Basic and Advanced Dental Laboratory School, Navy Field Medical School (FMF) and the United States Department of Labor Certificate of Apprenticeship Dental Laboratory Technician Program. He also received several Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals for outstanding performance. Willie graduated first in his class from the American Society of Master Dental Technologists. In addition to his technical training, Willie completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration from Southern Illinois University and holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Most recently, Willie became one of the first technicians to become a CDT in implants. He is a member of the International Congress of Oral lmplantologists and the American Society of Master Dental Prosthologists and is active in the Spear Education Study Clubs and the Northeastern Gnathological Society.

 

Irene Williams

Lab Administrator

Irene has over 25 years of experience in the dental laboratory business. She began her career by performing infection control protocols for incoming cases before advancing to the scheduling, monitoring, and invoicing of work in our case management software system.

Irene has been overseeing OSHA compliance since 2005 and FDA guideline implementation since 2015. She was promoted to Customer Care manager in 2018 and Lab Administrator in 2021. Irene has completed many professional development courses through Penn State University and Dale Carnegie’s Leadership Institute. She is currently taking business courses toward her Bachelor’s Degree at Capella University.

 


Hal Diedrich, CDT

Ceramic Department Manager

Hal began his career at NDX Thayer in 1982. He started out in cast partials, but moved to the Ceramics Department after a number of years. He is now the manager of the Ceramics Department and has been CDT certified for more than 24 years. Aside from receiving invaluable experience throughout his career at the lab, Hal has also taken many relevant continuing education courses in the past 36 years.
