Course Overview

This one-day course, being offered at two different locations, equips dental professionals with the practical skills to implement a step-by-step approach to full arch reconstruction for overdentures and hybrid fixed prostheses. Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of indications and contraindications and will receive tips to avoid and troubleshoot complications.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • Comprehend the analog and digital approach for full arch reconstruction
  • Understand maxillary and mandibular full arch treatment planning, including optimal implant positioning
  • Apply the fundamentals for capturing full arch records
  • Correct, capture and communicate the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) with edentulous and terminally dentate arches
  • Evaluate and correct phonetics and aesthetics


Featured Speakers

JOHN DIPONZIANO, DDS, MAGD, MAAIP, DICOI  has been performing the surgical placement and prosthetic restoration of dental implants since the mid-eighties. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and has completed a three-year didactic and participatory program in Implantology at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Dr. John DiPonziano is a Diplomate of the ICOI, a Master of the AAIP and the AGD, and a Fellow of the ACD.
 

 

JEFF CARLSON, CDT has extensive experience in both the dental laboratory setting as well as working with dental implant manufacturers in the areas of education, and technical and sales support. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on dental implants. Jeff is the primary author of a 300-page, fully illustrated“ cookbook” for restorative doctors and is a co-author of a corresponding restorative manual for auxiliaries that has been distributed in eight countries. Jeff has also developed a two-day training program helping clinicians improve their presentation skills, which has been attended by more than 200 dentists from 16 countries.
